A verification-based program

Anthropic introduced its Life Sciences Verification Program on September 17, 2026. The announcement described a beta program for eligible teams and institutions, with review of credentials and research safeguards before expanded access.

The page was subsequently clarified to distinguish expressing interest from a formal application. Availability should therefore be checked through the provider's current program information.

Eligibility belongs in project planning

A team should not build a delivery schedule around capabilities it has not been approved to use. Access may depend on the organization, product surface, and intended activity. A general subscription or a third-party integration should not be assumed to confer the same permissions.

These distinctions matter for procurement as well as engineering: the person approving the budget needs to understand what is available now and what remains conditional.

Keep the use case documented

Describe the actual research workflow, data handling, and responsible owners before evaluating a specialized access program. Preserve the provider's applicable terms and approval record with the project. This article covers an industry governance development, not a recommendation for biological research or a claim that XMH.NET provides access to the program. Our service remains focused on image workflows.
